Rockstar Games or Valve who is better in terms of making games?
2023年12月5日 · I'd say Valve is the king of First Person games and Rockstar games is the king of Third Person games. Even though i've spent more time with Valve games i just can't decide cause RDR as a series is really really good. So is GTA and we'll see what's to come in GTA 6.

If only Valve spent as much time actually releasing games as they did cancelling them (because they can't jam microtransactions into them), we wouldn't have to wait literal decades for the conclusion to the Half-Life series and the company wouldn't be infamous for being a "game developer" that hasn't published anything worthwhile since 2011.

2023年9月19日 · Half life Alyx was produced to promote the Valve index. I don't know if we can expect more games from valve any time soon unless they release another gaming product like the index. I hope I'm wrong. All I'm saying is that there is a reason we haven't seen Half Life 3.

To be honest, you're forgetting the fact that valve was making steamos and hardware, specifically VR, steam link, and steam controller, in the years around 2015 with no games. Also, you're forgetting alien swarm reactive drop.
