You'd think the more powerful PS5 could now natively handle MKV/H265 (HEVC) with EAC3 audio. I figured it was direct streaming right before finding this thread. Once I disabled direct stream I stopped getting the yellow spinner and random lockups. Scrubbing still sucks. I found that audio quality is not the same aswell.
