2019年8月13日 · Just installed a new i9-9900 (non K) processor in a MSI Gaming Plus Z390 motherboard. Have the bare minimum config, with one stick of ram, no graphics card or any additional. Bios page loads and looks fine, but when starting Win 10 installation via a flash drive, it gets just past the loading animation, and crashes and reboots at the language page.

Overclocking is most likely done by gamers... but is not a must for games... I don't use overclocking and I play my games smoothly.

2018年12月19日 · I just put together a new build with a Gigabyte Z390 Designare motherboard and an i9 9900k and everything works great! The chip is blazing fast but its also blazing hot...or is it? The weird thing is at idle, this chip runs at 23 Celsius and jumps so high on full load so it can't bee a thermal paste / mounted cooler problem.
My i9-9900K is jumping to 60-90°c very easily even in idle.
