Question about size of bladder tumor - Bladder cancer - Inspire
2021年6月3日 · I was diagnosed with Low grade, noninvasive bladder tumor in March, after an incidental finding on a CT of the abdomen and pelvis for another reason. My question relates to the size of the tumor, as I understand that size has a relationship to risk for recurrence. The CT (completed 3 weeks before the turbt) said the tumor was 1.9 cm.

Perivesical space is shown under Anterior of Extraperitoneal Mass. This diagnostic flow chart says suspect bladder cancer if mass is found in Perivesical space.

I learned that this early recurrence (if path actually confirms it) means that you have not had "adequate BCG" to be considered BCG unresponsive since you have only had the x6 induction. The guidelines call for turbt and then a reinduction of x6 BCG.
