2012年8月27日 · All kidding aside, after seeing Prometheus so many times, I think the black goo comes from the Engineers seed/dna, not the dna from the Xeno's. In the beginning of the movie an Engineer sacrifices himself to seed a planet, a rather crude way to seed a planet nonetheless.

Even the name doesn't sound right, and granted it could be a working title, but I haven't seen anything else out there talking about a third movie just yet.
