I happen to have multiple surfaces in house, including a Surface dock 2. The chargers vary from 39, 65 to 127 Watt output; the dock has 120 Watt power delivery. I used to pick whatever charger is available for whatever device.

Oct 7, 2021 · I've just been told by Microsoft that my two Surface Pro's, a Surface Pro 3 and a Surface Pro 4. The problem, apparently, are the CPUs. These are Microsoft designed devices, not particularly old (I have 10 year old laptops that run Windows 10). Either Windows 11 is a pig or Microsoft cheaped out on the processors for their own hardware.
