I keep a long roll of heavy duty aluminum foil= using the long side of the foil: fold foil over at least 3 times in about 4 inch wide strip ( enough to support any heavy tart, cake etc. ) . Place inside the pie carrier and enough foil hanging over the outside: to make side handles.

I like the fact that I can just grab a carton of milk off the shelf without looking at the date, because I know it will always be fresh, due to their huge turnover. Fresh farmed salmon is always 9.99/lb at my store, which beats everyone else. Ground turkey is also lower.
