I just recently purchased a $50 steam gift card and part of the numbers were torn off, i tried taking it back to the store i purchased it from and they said they couldnt do anything about it. so i sent the steam support a picture of the card and they havent been back to me in almost 4 days now Only support can assisst you

Apr 16, 2018 · Just buy credits directly off Steam. Those cards are supposed to be gift cards anyway. Unless you want to maximize privacy or have too much cash on hand, I don't see why you wouldn't. Seems like you're buying cards off shady retailers anyway. A card code doesn't work unless the card gets activated at the cash register.

Jan 2, 2017 · Wrapped cards are usually gift cards or some sort of prepaid cards. There is no feature on Steam to verify codes. Once you enter that code in, its activated to the Steam account. I would send that code to your friend and wait. I think that's all you can do. If it doesn't work, you take that matter up with the website you bought it from.

Dec 25, 2012 · How many circle symbols are on that card? Thats 2^N number of different attempts. If you enter a bad code it does nothing. Enter a good code and it works and you can throw the code out. 2^3 is 8, but I tried all 8 combinations. Multiple times. Double Checking everything else. What am I supposed to do?

You can send the digital ones regardless of country, though due to sanctions, some places may still be excluded. The digital funds are sent directly to the users account and must use an external payment method. The funds are converted to the currency of the recipient.
