I have paperwork from the ceramic coating company and dealership stating that the protection was applied at X miles on a specific date. Fast forward a few weeks, I went to a local auto detailing business to get paint protection film applied on my car.

As for other products, it's up to you. There isn't a lot you need and nothing special for a ceramic coating, though you will need a "topper" ( a spray on fake ceramic coating that helps your real one. You can get them at any auto store, though I would recommend buying one online. I have "The Last Coat 2.0" and it works well).

Like most things, a ceramic coating is not always base on logic and/ or economics. If you love your car and/ or love that clean look then it won’t matter. I have a black car that has a ceramic coating & full PPF, I can’t imagine not having them on my car. But Im the type of person that gets annoyed when I see dust on cars.
