Bose is mostly mum about how it works, but if you read that linked article and get some idea of what the Dead were doing, this is sort of a modern happy-meal micro-sized version of that.

2024年10月2日 · The noise cancelling method is a pretty bog-standard way of cancelling noise. If you have one wave with phase theta, and another identical but with phase theta +/- 180 degrees, they should cancel out. The buffered output is probably just some simple buffer circuit to make up for any drops in gain, and provide a "optimal" impedance.

Like maybe both mics were mathematically equi-distant from the speakers. Try moving ONE mic closer or farther to interfere with the relationship.

The m80 and 945 are usually my go to mics on other systems but they have more of high end presence boost than other mics like the 58. The m80, 945, Audix, etc. are better suited for traditional PA systems imo.

2013年12月29日 · Sold it, and currently use RCF-NX12's.The RCF based setup is superior to the Bose in my opinion. The Bose base unit (I had the "Classic" model) was a royal pain to move (and ship). The sound was ok, but all midrange. The RCF's sound smoother and louder, although there is a 80-120 Hz hump that I eq out.
