2017年2月7日 · Per Adobe advisement (Solution 2), I have once again uninstalled Acrobat XI, run the Acrobat Cleaner Tool, re-installed Acrobat XI from the program disk, and then attempted to install the latest Acrobat update, i.e. 11.0.23, dated 11/14/2017.

2020年4月20日 · I checked with Wireshark. It appears Acrobat makes a callout to "acroipm.adobe.com" and immediately crashes afterward. After remapping this domain to 0.0.0.0 with my 'hosts' file, it works fine, even when online: # stop Adobe Acrobat from crashing 0.0.0.0 acroipm.adobe.com . Note this is a fix for Acrobat X, but it may work for XI.

2023年11月21日 · This is an update on my original post. It appears that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is not compatible with Windows 11. The only way forward was to subscribe to Adobe Acrobat, which I've done. I'm still going to activate it on my PC and hopefully everything will work smoothly from now on. Thank you for your help! Have a great day!
