2007年8月16日 · It's not per se. Though sometimes a pinwheel with zoom with is annoying. But the M1 is 16gb 512ssd. It's in my bedroom. My office has the M2 Pro 16gb 512gb. Basically I would trade in M1, move the M2 Pro up into my room in its place and put the M4 machine where the M2 is in my office. But debating whether to up to 24gb and/or just go m4 pro.

2023年4月18日 · I have 2 M1 airs. A M1/8/512 and a M1/16/1TB. I use the 16gb for use as a desktop Mac and wanted 16gb for use with Windows 11 and it uses all 16GB. I use the 8gb one for carrying around for normal MBA tasks and I rarely ever swap to SSD. I would just say it depends on what you're doing with it. Unified memory is neat, but ram is still ram..

2009年12月19日 · In daily use, M1 Air is faster than the 16" Pro, especially when the 16" would need to communicate with the T2 chip (whenever you needed to put your system password for something). In benchmarks, the M1 Pro performs pretty much the same as the 16" MacBook Pro despite the 16" having a discrete GPU and 16 gigabytes of RAM instead of 8.

2023年3月3日 · The M2 Pro chip is a mild bump over the M1 Pro, but it sounds like you need multitasking more than power. I would recommend the one with 32GB ram. Also @maflynn, the M1 Pro chip beats the M2 base chip, so if they had to spend 2899 for a laptop then the one with M1 Pro would be a better bet since they otherwise have same RAM.

2022年10月24日 · Sure, right now it isn’t necessary to have 16GB RAM in the iPad, but I planned to have the M1 16GB model for years to come and I got it on a little sale back in June. Technically all iPads from 2015-16 are still pretty well future proofed, these newer models having desktop class internals included though, made my decision easer.

2016年8月25日 · Apple did carry 16GB models of the 13" M1 MBP and the M1 MBA in stores. In fact, Apple is known to even carry multiple configurations of RAM with multiple configurations of SSD storage. I know, because when I bought my 13" M1 MBP, I could select for immediate pickup for 512GB and 1TB options, both with either 8GB or 16GB of RAM.
