The NCAA softball tournament bracket will be cut down to an elite eight bound for the Women's College World Series at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, all before the calendar hits Memorial Day.

Pace University (New York) scored a run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning to earn a 2-1 victory over the Cardinals, ending SVSU’s run in the double-elimination NCAA Division II World Series tournament at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.

The Women's College World Series field will be set on May 25 following a group of deciding Game 3s in the super regionals. The SEC could send as many as six teams to OKC, with all four winner-take-all Game 3s on May 25 involving SEC programs.
