Assets were stolen from Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange Bybit earlier this month, in what's believed to be the largest-ever digital heist.

The FBI has accused North Korea of stealing $1.5 billion from Bybit in the largest cryptocurrency heist in history. The Lazarus Group, a North Korean cyber unit, is laundering the stolen assets to fund the country's nuclear program.

North Korean hackers were behind the theft of $1.5 billion of virtual assets last week from Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation said, marking the biggest heist in history.
