Sparks flew as Glynn County Police Department tried to stop a RV that was reported stolen out of Virginia. The chase lasted for several miles along I-95 only to come to an end at the very top of the Sydney Lanier Bridge.

The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) was involved in a pursuit Thursday night with a stolen RV and camper. At approximately 11:17 p.m., GCPD was notified by dispatch that McIntosh County Sheriff’s Deputies were in pursuit of a motorhome towing a pull-behind camper traveling southbound on I-95 toward Glynn County.

A stolen RV reported missing from West Virginia and a stolen camper reported missing in Virginia are now in Georgia heavily damaged following a chase with authorities overnight Friday.

Investigators found more than a pound of marijuana in 34-year-old Jonathan Hart's vehicle after the crash, the Glynn County Sheriff's Office said.

Glynn County police arrested two people late Thursday after officers chased an RV pulling a camper. The chase originated in McIntosh County where deputies there started chasing the RV, according to a Glynn County police news release.
