OTTAWA -- Max Pacioretty broke a tie with 5:39 remaining in the third period for the Toronto Maple Leafs, who eliminated the Ottawa Senators with a 4-2 win in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference First Round at Canadian Tire Centre on Thursday.

The Ottawa Senators are still alive but facing elimination again Thursday night as they resume their NHL Eastern Conference Playoffs series against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Max Pacioretty's goal with 5:39 left lifted the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 4-2 series-clinching victory over the host Ottawa Senators in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference first-round matchup on Thursday.
