ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos will be without two of their key free agent additions when they face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Inside linebacker Dre Greenlaw will miss his third game with a thigh injury and tight end Evan Engram will also sit this one out after injuring his back in the Broncos' 29-28 loss at Indianapolis in Week 2.
The Broncos identified Engram and Greenlaw as contributors who could push them closer toward their goals, which include contending for AFC supremacy. Therefore, it is hard to overstate their absences. The Chargers are more shorthanded, though, following the news that future Hall of Famer Khalil Mack is going on the injured reserve.
The Denver Broncos will be at a loss when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers, as the team has ruled out two starters ahead of the showdown.
