While the NBA Finals have yet to be decided, the 28 other teams are gearing up for next week's NBA Draft. That includes the Boston Celtics.

The NBA Draft is just one week away and ESPN’s latest mock draft has the Celtics seeking out some help on the wing after Jayson Tatum’s suffered an Achilles tear. ESPN’s Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo released a projection this week that has the Celtics taking 19-year-old UNC standout Drake Powell with the No. 28 overall pick.

The focus of the 2025 NBA draft is on the top of this class, especially Cooper Flagg likely going to the Dallas Mavericks at No. 1 overall, but most the marquee franchises in the sport will be deep in their scouting bag trying to find young players who might be able to contribute in the future because of where they are picking.
