Spanish UFC champion Ilia Topuria is throwing his hat in the ring for a fight against Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion Terence Crawford coming off the boxer’s historic win over Mexican icon Canelo Alvarez on Saturday night.
After the conclusion of 12 rounds, Crawford took a clear decision, winning officially by scores of 116-112. 115-113, 115-113. With the win, Crawford became the first man in boxing history to become undisputed champion in three different weight classes.
Crawford had fought most of his career between 135 and 147 pounds. He moved up a weight class to 154 in August 2024 and defeated Israil Madrimov to win the WBA junior middleweight title before taking a year to build up for the fight against Canelo.
