The Commission on Election (Comelec) received on Monday the source code for the overseas voting in the 2025 midterm polls.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has received the source code for the first-ever overseas voting and counting system (OVCS) in Eleksyon 2025.

In the same month the Pentagon also cancelled an online voting experiment after a group of academics concluded that no internet-based election system could be completely secure.
