Roblox announces a big change that revamps the process of uploading and selling custom content on its Marketplace.

Previously, Roblox required an image of an official form of identification for users to become verified on the Roblox Creator Marketplace.

Roblox notes that this change will diversify the offerings on the marketplace to help every user find items and avatars that best represent them, their skin tone, body type, hair, and more.

This is not the first time such a change has been done to the game in disguise. In the past, several changes to Roblox's marketplace and avatar shop have been made that players usually oversee.

Roblox is developing a new open-source generative AI tool, dubbed the 3D Foundational Model, the game platform announced at the Roblox Developer Conference on Friday.
