Among MacBook Pros, the best deal I've spotted so far is a $250 discount on a 14-inch M4 model with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It randomly fell to $1,715.05 three times in May, according to the price-tracking site CamelCamelCamel, but otherwise its Prime Day price of $1,749 is its biggest discount since launch.

Amazon Prime Day deals are in full effect, and even on Day 3 of the sales, Apple continues to offer some stellar MacBook deals, with savings of up to $350 on every Air and Pro model. The best deals I've seen so far are $150 off the M4 MacBook Air (arguably one of the best laptops you can buy right now) and a whopping $170 off the M4 MacBook Pro.

The Mac I've been using for day-to-day work is my late 2015 iMac 27-inch 5K running on a Core i5 CPU with 16GB of RAM. As expected, the MacBook Air with M2 blows it out of the water.
That said, the Apple MacBook Air M2 with 8GB of RAM will still be an amazing laptop. Saving yourself $99.01 might be worth it if your needs are slightly less demanding.
