Pa., has introduced the Social Security Child Protection Act, which is aimed at safeguarding children from identity theft when their Social Security cards are lost or stolen.

The scam text wants updated banking information, supposedly for your tax refund. Don't reply or click any link in the message.  The state does not send unsolicited texts asking for personal data.
