This year, Roblox has yet another Avatar Design Contest where players can design an avatar and send in their entry. The player who wins the contest gets $500 and a place in the Avatar Shop of Roblox.

Roblox has acquired Loom.ai for an undisclosed price to enable its users to create realistic 3D avatars. Roblox also delayed its IPO.

A Roblox Display Name means that as well as customizing the appearance of your avatar, you can also determine what name is seen by other players and will appear in different areas of the game too.
