Robert Redford has died at the age of 89. It was reported he passed away at his home in Utah. The Captain America star, who was an Academy Award winner, had become a political activist in his latter years and was outspoken in his views against President Donald Trump.
“Robert Redford passed away on September 16, 2025, at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah — the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved,” Berger told The Post in a statement. “He will be missed greatly. The family requests privacy.”
