VinFast showcased some of their popular global cars in India at the Auto Expo 2025. In this report, we take you through their plans for India and the cars they plan to launch very soon in India.

VinFast, a Vietnamese EV maker listed on the Nasdaq, has officially entered the Indian automotive market with the launch of two all-electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

VinFast unveiled its VF6 and VF7 SUVs at the India Auto Show in New Delhi, as it hopes to draw buyers to its EVs and contribute to India's goals of eliminating carbon emissions on a net basis, said Pham Sanh Chau,

VinFast also showcased the VF Wild, an electric pickup concept, which was unveiled globally in January 2024. The highlight feature of the VF Wild is that the truck bed can be expanded from five to eight feet by folding the rear seats. It was shown with features such as a panoramic sunroof and digital outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs).

Electric vehicle maker VinFast Auto Ltd. said it plans to begin selling two made-in-India cars in the South Asian country later this year, marking the Vietnamese carmaker’s debut in the world’s third-biggest car market.

Technologically advanced, the VF e34 includes a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display, electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), automatic air conditioning, and a premium 6-speaker sound system. A 7-inch screen on the rear center console enhances passenger comfort.

The VinFast VF9, a full-sized, three-row electric SUV has debuted at Auto Expo 2025. It features a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain producing 402 bhp, accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.63 seconds.
