A 2½-year-old boy missing since Saturday from his parents’ property along the Siletz River appears to have last been at the water’s edge before he disappeared,

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said during a Tuesday press conference it is focusing on the Siletz River in its search for 2-year-old Dane Paulsen. Paulsen disappeared from the front yard of his home in Siletz on the banks of the river at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies and volunteers looking for the 2-year-old Siletz toddler who vanished from his family’s home Saturday have found not so much as a trace of him on land, officials said. Tuesday marked the fourth day since the child went missing while playing in his family’s front yard on a grassy property abutting the Siletz River while out of sight of his parents.
