NORMAN — Little stood in the way of Oklahoma and finishing off a perfect weekend at the Omni Classic. The No. 2-ranked Sooners jumped on Kansas City early on Saturday, putting up five runs in the first inning, but catcher Isabela Emerling delivered the biggest swing of the game in the second.

The Sooners (20-0) delivered a dominant performance at the Omni Classic, securing five shutout victories and outscoring their opponents 41-0.

Kansas softball beat Marshall in walk-off fashion on Sunday to move to a 3-2 record in the Oklahoma Omni Classic and improved to 10-7 on the year.

The No. 2-ranked Sooners hit five home runs, led by a two-homer performance by sophomore star Kasidi Pickering . Pickering’s two solo bombs came in the first and third innings, helping OU down the Jayhawks 8-0 in five innings at Love’s Field.
