Tens of millions of people were expected to head out for the holiday weekend, mostly on the roads. But storms slamming parts of the South could make return travel treacherous.

The 23rd Annual Memorial Day Ceremony took place at the Lake Sahara South Park in the west Las Vegas Valley. Organized by American Legion Post 76 and spearheaded by veteran Roger John Henning, the event aimed to unite veterans, families, and residents in a tribute to America’s fallen heroes.
