Kilmar Abrego Garcia surrendered to U.S. immigration authorities in Baltimore Monday and faces possible efforts by the Trump administration to deport him immediately.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man who was unlawfully deported to El Salvador earlier this year, urged supporters at a rally to “continue to fight (and) resist” before he checked in at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in Baltimore on Monday.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, whose arrest and fight to stay in the U.S. has become a flashpoint in President Donald Trump ’s immigration crackdown, surrendered Monday morning to U.S. immigration authorities in Baltimore. He faces possible efforts by the Trump administration to deport him to Uganda.
