One franchise cornerstone the 49ers are not looking to part ways with is tight end George Kittle. Kittle has been with the 49ers since 2017, the year John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan took over the franchise, and has been one of the key players to the team's success over the past half decade.

John Lynch made it clear he hopes the team can work out a long-term deal with Brock Purdy, who's entering the last year of his rookie contract.

Earlier this month, 49ers owner Jed York confirmed that the team had met with Brock Purdy’s representation now that the quarterback is eligible for a second contract.
