Cloud accounting service Xero has purchased practice management suite provider WorkFlowMax, effectively adding tools for accountants to track leads, jobs, invoices and time.

Xero also recently acquired WorkflowMax, a full-practice management suite that has allowed Xero to strengthen its cloud-based offerings.

The key product it gives Xero is WorkflowMax, a monthly fee-based workflow platform hosted on Rackspace aimed at a range of small businesses, including its core reseller market, accounting practices.
