A python was spotted slithering around a store in the heart of the Big Apple's Diamond District Friday -- just two days after another snake was found on the Upper West Side.

Hunters are paid more to patrol the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in the hope they can prevent what happened at Everglades National Park.

"The snake probably was a pet that got too large to keep and too expensive to feed," Sheriff Lee Foster told Newsweek.

A massive snake — believed to be a Burmese python — has been spotted slithering through Doral this week.

Giant, invasive Burmese pythons are moving north from the Florida Everglades toward Georgia, taking out hundreds of native species.

A resident of a Florida neighborhood spotted a 14-foot invasive Burmese python in the bushes between two homes — and then deputies intervened, a sheriff’s office said.
