Roblox says its paid experiences will launch on personal computers later this year, with plans to expand to all other devices in the future.

A new Roblox initiative will allow some creators to get paid for fan games based on Like a Dragon, Stranger Things, and more popular IPs.

Roblox will roll out paid videogames on its platform and allow developers to sell physical merchandise through their created games, the company said on Friday.

To further support creators, Roblox is going to roll out a “Price Optimization” tool that will run tests to help developers identify the best price for in-experience purchases.
