Chipotle Mexican Grill is going back into the metaverse to give away free burritos with a new Burrito Builder game on Roblox for National Burrito Day.

Chipotle is giving away $1 million worth of free food on Monday, in honor of Cinco de Mayo. The brand announced its “Ingredient Quest” gaming experience on Roblox in a press release Tuesday.

Chipotle announced Tuesday that it will open a virtual location on Roblox later this week, where fans can get a code for a real-life free burrito.

Users will be tasked to collect virtual cards featuring 53 Chipotle real ingredients in Chipotle’s Burrito Builder experience on Roblox for a chance to win 50,000 free burritos.

The fast-casual chain is offering a free "boorito" to customers who show up at their Roblox restaurant dressed in virtual Halloween costumes.

By using the Chipotle Burrito Builder on Roblox –- a video game-like feature -- fans can win freebies starting Thursday, April 7, when National Burrito Day is celebrated.
