Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs planning more store shutdowns in Washington, including four more in Pierce County. Closures tied to Rite Aid’s bankruptcy.

Two more proposed store closure lists have been entered into the court filings of Rite Aid’s bankruptcy case, and they include more Pierce County locations.

After the round of closures the county will have two remaining Rite Aid stores, in Bremerton and Bainbridge Island.

For Seattle-area shoppers watching the systematic dismemberment of Bartell Drugs and its bankrupt parent Rite Aid, the math has been pretty discouraging.
