Oftentimes, prom dresses sit and gather dust after only one wear, but this Sunday over a hundred were given a second life at a giveaway organized by the NDG Community Council.

The volunteer organization is holding its sixth annual Prom Night and Grad Day giveaway, where students can choose formal clothing – dresses or suits – shoes, jewelry and accessories at no cost.

Men's Wearhouse offers prom attire rentals and purchases. Colorful and patterned suits are trending for prom this year. Rentals start at $99.99 and include a full outfit.
