Another classic Rare Nintendo 64 game is coming to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Banjo-Tooie, the sequel to Banjo Kazooie (of course), is being added to the service on October 25, Nintendo announced on Friday.

Nintendo Switch owners can dive into this amazing N64 game soon as Banjo-Tooie is headed to Nintendo Switch Online for all members.

Those that subscribe to the Switch Online Expansion Pack tier get everything that comes with the base tier, plus free DLC for certain games and access to many more retro titles. With the Expansion Pack tier, Switch Online subscribers get to play Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Advance games, with new titles added on a semi-regular basis.

Banjo-Tooie will be available through the N64 app from October 25, 2024. The new version of the game will be available in widescreen mode to take advantage of the Switch's 720p LCD/OLED screen. The gameplay shown in the announcement trailer also confirms that it will run at, or at least target, 60fps.

Rare's much-loved Banjo Kazooie sequel, Banjo-Tooie, is coming to Nintendo Switch later this month. The Nintendo 64 classic will join the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library on 25th October. "Banjo-Tooie is now coming to the Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online collection of games!" Nintendo teased.
