Pop star Sabrina Carpenter will serve as the first special guest, kicking off a potential wave of celebrity appearances if the series goes forward. According to Disney, the reboot will bring back Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo and the rest of the gang as they once again try to stage a variety show inside the iconic Muppet Theatre.
