Ralph Sawyer left his house Friday morning and was expected to be back that evening but did not return. Search efforts are underway near the Trillium Lake area.

Ralph Sawyer was expected back at his home around 8:30 p.m. Friday, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.
