GENEVA, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- The Earth's protective ozone layer is healing and the ozone hole in 2024 was smaller than in recent years, a UN meteorological agency said in a report Tuesday.

The incident took place around 2:40 a.m. Eastern Time (0640 GMT), according to the FBI. The suspect threw an American flag over the gate before leaving.
