Excel doesn't have a built-in formatting option to change the case of letters like you'll find in Word, but you can accomplish the same thing using the LOWER function and a bit of copying and pasting.

Open the Excel 2010 file that you want to make format changes to. Select the top-left cell in the range of cells that you want to change to the accounting format.
