According to the Ottawa County Clerk's Office, 6,173 people out of the 35,096 registered voters cast their ballots for the Aug. 5, 2025, election.

Ken Johnson and Bob Garretson were the top vote-getters in the primary election, beating out one other candidate in the race, according to unofficial results from the Muskegon County Clerk’s Office.
