Facebook has also redesigned the collaboration features and made it easier and more intuitive to add friends as contributors to albums.

Removing a friend is just as easily done. Go to your Friends page and select the troublemaker you wish to give the big boot, then go to Remove Friend where the Add Friend button used to be.
