“Eau de Parfum typically sits between an eau de toilette and parfum extrait [this is sometimes referred to as perfume oil and is somewhere in the 20-40% range] in concentration,” she adds.
Eau de toilette: This is lighter still and usually sold in spray bottles. The lightness of it makes it more suitable to spray more liberally. The high alcohol content means it will not last very long.
This means that an Eau de Parfum is generally much longer-lasting than an Eau De Toilette, with the key difference between the two being the level of concentrated perfume oil they contain.
