The president's Federal Communications Commission chairman, Brendan Carr, threatened to revoke broadcast licenses for stations that continued airing Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talk show, which prompted ABC parent company Disney to dump the host hours later on Tuesday.

Disney’s ABC pulling Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show off the air indefinitely is “not the last shoe to drop,” FCC Chair Brendan Carr said on Fox News today. Carr also praised President Donald Trump for creating a “massive shift” in the media ecosystem.
