OpenAI will roll out a new chatbot program to address mounting safety concerns surrounding teenagers in artificial intelligence forums, the company said Tuesday morning.

OpenAI says if ChatGPT detects a user is under 18, they will be automatically directed to "age-appropriate" content.

OpenAI announced new and upcoming ChatGPT teen safety features on Tuesday, including age prediction technology and a variety of parental controls.

The Georgia Tech study found that rural patients are three times more likely to be transferred than patients in urban areas.
