Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be swinging its way from PlayStation 5 consoles to PC on January 30, 2025, and with it comes speculation from players across the web about how Sony and its first-party studios will likely be releasing all of their future PlayStation games not only for PS consoles,

Spider-Man 2 is just the latest in a big PC push from Sony, which also includes a PC overlay that launched in June alongside Ghost of Tsushima ’s PC port. Spider-Man 2 is also the fastest a major PS5 game has been ported so far, with the PC version coming less than two years after its original launch.

The Marvel title, which was developed by Insomniac Games, is slated to debut for PC in January 2025. Two editions of Spider-Man 2 will be available: a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition. The game features an open-world New York in which players complete side quests and missions in addition to the main storyline.
