When creating a presentation, you need to have slides available to place your content on. Slides are like pages, and you can add, duplicate, and delete them.

Click "Slide Master" at the top, in the Master Views group, to open the Slide Master view. Changes made in the Slide Master view are applied to all slides in your presentation.
