Samsung has announced that it is now mass-producing 40nm-class 8GB DDR3 RAM modules for notebooks. The new RAM is in the form of SoDIMM modules and is being made in UDIMM modules as well.

Cosying-up with the new Sandy Bridge setups is Corsair's latest line of performance memory, the Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz kit.

As we stated in the introduction, there are only two 8GB 1600MHz LoVo models listed at Newegg, one from Mushkin and the Patriot Memory for Ultrabook we're looking at today.
